About Us

A hug from a child, a squeal with surprise, and a tear rolling down a dad’s cheek were the truly remarkable gifts we received this last year alone.  The Brighter Days Foundation has taken the donations from gerenous communities and shown families with sick children that the Brainerd Lakes Area cares.  We have been amazed by the willingness of local businesses, individuals, and community leaders to help donate gifts and services.  We cannot thank these people enough for helping us develop and continue gifting.  The BDF is a true non-profit that is becoming more structured in its organization and membership month by month.  We have an extremely talented group of individuals that serve on the Board and enthusiastic committees that are able to see the same vision I had for this organization when it began just a few years ago.  I just want to say that I look forward to the encounters that have yet to come and the smiles that hopefully help the healing process.
